I’m Serena — the owner, dreamer, designer, voice, & creative energy of Lucky 7z

“Entrepreneurship is in my blood. I grew up watching my dad build his landscaping business from the ground up, learning early on that a great business is built on hard work and an honest reputation.

While I always knew I’d follow in those footsteps, it took years of honing my craft in vinyl and design to realize my true calling. I didn’t want to just fill shelves with pre-made items; I wanted to build a creative partnership with my clients— everyday people and other small business owners.

Today, I use my expertise to bring your specific visions to life, one custom project at a time.”

My husband brennan is the behind-the-scenes fixer, metal master, & my right hand man.

While Brennan’s path to entrepreneurship began later than Serena's, his passion for building was immediate. When they met in 2018, Brennan was working in industrial metal fabrication, mastering the precision of plasma table lasers and custom metalwork. He saw the potential to take those technical skills and turn them into something personal.

Together, they began dreaming of a way to merge Serena’s design eye with Brennan’s manufacturing expertise. In 2023, that dream became Lucky 7z Graphics—a true partnership where industrial capability meets creative vision.

Our Journey: The Story of Lucky 7z

We believe in signs, serendipity & chasing your dreams

It started with a shared dream. Serena grew up with entrepreneurship in her blood, and when she met Brennan, that spark caught fire. He was working in metal fabrication, she was honing her craft in design, and together they began dreaming of a business they could call their own.
They were living in a cozy 900-square-foot home—full of love, but no room for big dreams to grow. They took a massive leap of faith and sold their house, hoping to find a space where their business could finally be launched..
The housing market "blew up" the moment they sold. For a year and a half, they searched. Eleven offers were denied. They were tested, but didn’t give up. Finally, they put in an offer $7k over asking price—and it was accepted. They finally had the space to bring our vision to life.
The final piece of the puzzle fell into place when Serena’s dad—the same entrepreneur who inspired her as a child—sent over a listing for a used large-format vinyl printer and laminator. It felt like a passing of the torch. Was this the sign they had been waiting for to finally jump into the business they dreamed of for years? it was time to stop dreaming and start doing.
As they prepared to launch this new business, they looked for a sign that they were on the right path. Serena found it in a propane bill while on the phone talking about this exact business with her dad: they had used exactly 777 gallons the year prior. this was it. they went all-in.

- The Name: Two 7s = a Z for reputation of their last name
Since that first day with used equipment and a leap of faith, Lucky 7z has grown into something they never could have imagined. Lucky 7z has expanded their capabilities and built a community of incredible clients.
